We are aware that it has been some time since we have had an update for you. We have been waiting on the minutes of the online council zoom meeting that many could not attend. Unfortunately, we could not make the video record of the meeting available at present.
To avoid any misinterpretation, we are waiting on the minutes of the meeting to become available. You can if you wish, request a copy of these yourselves directly from the council.
On the whole the meeting was fairly positive. Ross Gillanders presented the scheme of works that is currently taken place and also the scheme that is proposed. He listened to various residents and agreed to look further at other possible outcomes on many aspects. We are waiting to hear back on these.
It was identified that some of the minor and routine works should go ahead. Eg. the fixing of fences and gateways, replacement bins and the removal of some invasive hedges.
The rest of the works at present will cease needing further investigation on alternate options.
We would prefer to wait until the minutes of the meeting are available as to avoid any misrepresentation at present.
We also ask that if you have time and would like to help out, then if you have not already done so then please contact us.
If anyone has any further questions or would like a further update then please also contact us directly.
